We Race for the Cure

Volunteering at the 16th Annual Susan G. Komen NC Triangle Race for the Cure 2012 was an unforgettable experience. Younger to older Carolinians made a statement to run or walk for the cause of ending breast cancer. The smiles, laughs, and tears verified how real breast cancer can impact the world. Various sponsors such as New Balance- Raleigh, Durham and Belk not only showcased their products, but also their positive, supportive spirit. Race for the Cure honors lost loved ones, celebrates survivorship, and raises awareness and funds to end breast cancer.
