Girl Talk Foundation, founded by Janine Davis, hosted it's 10th Annual Prom Project April 7th at ImaginOn Library, downtown Charlotte. Over 700 young ladies registered for this wonderful event which included an etiquette seminar. Accessories, purses and makeup were also provided to complete the girl's wardrobe. Once the girls made their wardrobe selection, they proceeded to the red carpet paparazzi area for a photos with me (Mrs.North Carolina International 2012).
As Girl Talk's tag line states, "empowering every girl to find her voice to become the success she is destined to be — confident, smart, proud and powerful", this event truly does just that. I am so thankful for the opportunity to participate in this event and wish to thank Ms. Janine Davis and her staff for welcoming me this year. I look forward to volunteering for years to come.
