MRS. NORTH CAROLINA INTERNATIONAL
TO ATTEND THE FAN’S CHOICE CHALLENGE

When NASCAR comes to Charlotte, fans flock from over 500 miles to gather for the festivities. Many fans come for the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race and then enjoy a week of festivities leading into the following weekend where they get to see the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series regulars compete in the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Part of the festivities this year include the first NASCAR Speedpark “Fan’s Choice Challenge.”

On Wednesday, May 25 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. EST, NASCAR drivers will be available for autographs and will also hold 15-lap heat races with fans on the Family 500 go-kart track at NASCAR SpeedPark at Concord Mills Mall, near Charlotte Motor Speedway. Fans who purchase a NASCAR Unites wristband for $5 from Mrs. North Carolina International 2011 will have the chance to race against their favorite drivers on the go-kart track.

The NASCAR Unites arm bands are just one of the ways fans can support a great cause,” stated Bolin. “We encourage everyone to visit NASCAR.COM/unites to pledge 5 hours towards our goal of 1 million volunteer hours.”
