The Durham Bulls Minor League Baseball Team and their
enthusiastic fans turned the stadium PINK to support Swing for the Cure. The NC
Triangle Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure collaborated with the Durham
Bulls to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer. By purchasing the $12
Komen game ticket, participants received a pink Durham Bulls hat, a Komen
wristband, and $2 was donated to the NC Triangle Affiliate. We distributed
vital breast cancer information in an effort to promote early detection. Thanks
to the Durham Bulls, we are a step closer towards ending breast cancer.
