Mrs. North Carolina International to visit Victory Junction Camp in Randleman, North Carolina
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
PRLog (Press Release) – Jun 07, 2011 – Every Tuesday night during the summer is an extra special night for the campers at Victory Junction because this is when the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series pit crews and celebrities stop by to spend time with them. Mrs. North Carolina International 2011, Janet Bolin, will be one of the celebrities stopping by to visit.
“Visiting Victory Junction is magical, exciting and humbling,” stated Bolin. “Being a big kid myself, I thoroughly embrace every moment to help these children smile and enjoy their camping experience at Victory Junction.”
The 2011 Summer Sessions at Victory Junction run for ten weeks. Each week is an exciting theme. The first week, starting June 12, is for children with Rheumatologic/Kidney illnesses. For the full 2011 summer schedule, please visit http://www.victoryjunction.org/.
Victory Junction will host 98 campers each week. The cost per child is $2,500. Thanks to the generous donations of thousands, each camper pays nothing to attend.
Mrs. North Carolina International 2011, Janet Bolin, has a mission to help raise awareness and donations for The NASCAR Foundation. During her reign, she is working with The NASCAR Foundation and all their charity partners, including Victory Junction, to collect donations in-person at NASCAR-sanctioned race events, community appearances and through social media.
