Today, Chelsea Gregory, Miss South Carolina International, and I, Miss Teen South Carolina International, held a car was to raise money for CHADD (Children and Adults with ADD/ADHD). Chelsea's national platform is Learning Disabilities, while mine is solely focused on ADD/ADHD Awareness. Chelsea and I are both affected by ADHD. We decided to put together our efforts in order to raise money for this great organization. Our car wash was held across from the Peach Stand in Fort Mill, SC. We also had a bake sale and a donations bucket. All of the car washes were also for donations. Overall, we raised over $400! We had a phenomenal turnout and amazing results! We absolutely can not wait to present CHADD with the money we have raised. Thanks to everyone who came out and supported us! Also a big thanks to all of our helpers and the Peach Stand for allowing us to make this day possible!
Chelsea and I will also be holding another fundraiser for CHADD this July. We are having a send off party before Chelsea and I are going to Chicago where we will be holding a silent auction.
