On April 8th my sister Queens and I were invited to attend the Season-Opening Kannapolis Intimidators Minor League Baseball game and have the opportunity to throw the first pitch! It was a beautiful spring RAINY day and unfortunately our plans did not work out the way we had hoped they would.
When I arrived it was pouring!

Greg Pizzuto, who is Director of Group Sales, the girls and I were able to take photos during a rain fall stop. It was for a short period of time though, and then we had to take cover quickly. Greg mentionaed the tarp would need to be removed a 1/2 hour before the game could start. Now due to a time constraint there would be no first pitches.
I enjoyed mingling with the crowd and getting down to a child's level to connect with the dissapointed, but adorable faces.
Greg was very kind to give me an open-door invitation of coming to enjoy any of their upcoming games, and my son Andrew is invited to sing the National Anthem.
