Wow I cant believe Chicago is finally here!!! I couldn't be any more blessed to have this opportunity to compete for the Miss International Title! My national platform the Healthy Smiles, Healthy Children foundation of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and I have worked so hard traveling around the world spreading the word about access to care for all children and the importance of getting your child in the dentist office when the first tooth erupts in order to prevent tooth decay!!! Over this past 5 months as Miss North Carolina I have had so many life changing experiences traveling around the world and impacting so many children's lives and i cannot even begin to imagine how many more lives could be changed with the Title of Miss International! Oral health is central to overall health and it is crucial that everyone has access to dental care across the world! This week is going to be an absolute blast and i cannot wait to see the outcome of the pageant! Thanks to EVERYONE for all the support and i cant PROMISE that i will bring home the crown but i can promise you one things and thats that i am going to do my best!
