A Better World held their annual Gala on October 17th at the Bank of America Stadium. The Organization
ABW is an after-school safe haven for kids K-12. Every single kid who has stayed with the program has graduated from high school. Anna Kooiman hosted the event and spoke during the slideshow presentation. There was a silent auction and my National Sponsor and dear friend Tara Davis graciously donated a cocktail dress for auction. I donated a bottle of French White Wine and a Gift Certificate from Eyes Eyes Baby my friend Kelly Ward Manion's company.
On the same night Charlotte Catholic High School, which I attended from 1982-1984, had a reunion at Loft in downtown Charlotte. It was nice to see everyone that evening and catch up with each other's stories. Have I really been out of high school for 25 years....LOL!
