One of the great ways to start your Independence Day Holiday in Charlotte is to begin it with a Children's Bike Parade at Ballantyne Village.   I have participated in this particular event in previous years.  I was excited to make an appearance this year at their 4th Annual Celebration as Mrs. International North Carolina!

Live music from Highway 17 Band, a fire truck with firemen and a lot of happy children with decorated bikes are found at the Village! Families come to enjoy a tradition that has been the vision of Bob and Margie Bruner, who are owners of the Village.  Renee Trudeau is their Marketing Representative and works very hard every year to bring the event together.  The Ballantyne Rotary Club is the official host of the Ballantyne Village Bike Parade and all proceeds of the event are donated to neighborhood schools.

Andrew and Taylor sang the National Anthem before the parade began and then Ladder #32 led the young bikers including Coles-Albert on their route!  It's was a quick event held between 12-2 that day and then families were able enjoy other Independence Holiday Celebrations!
